CCC Team Bios

Brian A. Schug, Jr. – President

Brian has over 30 years of experience specializing in public facilities infrastructure, planning and zoning research and development, environmental site assessments and inspections, governmental compliance and administration and hazardous spill clean-up. 

He has also served as a longtime consultant for strategic urban planning, residential and commercial project management, and development and environmental remediation project management.

Licensed New York State Code Enforcement Official for the past 16 years, and provided consulting services for the Village of Ellenville, Town of Gardiner and Town of Wawarsing in New York State.

Project Manager for Westinghouse Environmental and Geotechnical Services (WEGS) a division of Westinghouse Electric. The majority of projects were assigned by the USEPA Superfund. Duties include managing permitting, compliance and mitigation for construction projects. Coordinates staff in developing procedures to solve environmental pollution problems, using scientific research methods. Interprets permits and other environmental documents. Develops compliance assurance plans and inspection procedures.  

Director for the Village of Ellenville Department of Public Safety Building and Zoning. Responsible for day-to-day management of municipal building department. Responsibilities include examining buildings, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, and other structures for compliance with the New York State Uniform Building and Fire Code. Also inspects electrical; heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR); and plumbing systems. Issues violation notices and stop-work orders until building and/or construction is compliant. Keeps daily logs, including photographs taken during inspection. Provides written feedback related to inspection findings. Reviews plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations. Approves building plans that are satisfactory. Monitors construction sites periodically to ensure overall compliance. Uses survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to perform inspections.  

The Town of Wawarsing Planning Board – Chairman (2010-2014). Duties include guiding Board actions with respect to governance concerns regarding planning and urban development. Considerable knowledge of the theory, principles and techniques of the planning profession and development process. Considerable knowledge of federal, state and local laws, as well as ordinances and codes pertaining to a wide variety of planning topics. Knowledge of the methods and techniques of research and analysis. Knowledge of real estate terminology, laws, practices, principles, and regulations.

 

Kyle G. Saver – Project Coordinator

Kyle has several years’ experience in the IT Department and has been fixing computers since 2007. With his extensive computer knowledge, he will make sure your projects are finished in a timely fashion. Kyle is also extremely knowledgeable in the AutoCAD field and not only gets the job done right the first time, but to make sure the project is done exactly how you request and will not rest until your project is exactly how you dreamed it would look.
Kyle has had many years of studying not only how to fix computers, but AutoCAD, MS Office and programming. He is the perfect candidate to get your projects completed and nothing will get in his way. Kyle enjoys not only his work, but walking his border collie rescue and restoring old antique electronics. For Kyle no job is too big or small and his goal is to make the client happy.

 

Kenneth C. Bovo, R.A.
NYS Certified Code Enforcement Officer

Ken has over 40 years of experience in architecture, planning and consulting on numerous institutional, commercial and residential projects in which he provided creative solutions to comply with environmental regulations. 

Ken received his architecture degree from CUNY Staten Island where he also taught architectural design. Ken is certified by NYS Department of State. He has numerous professional memberships in architecture including the AIA, US Green Building Council, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
